Educational visits, or school trips as they are sometimes known, are a key element of learning at Longford Park School. They enable children to make links and connections between their learning in the classroom and the real world in an engaging and interactive manner. Additionally, vital life skills such as road safety or how to safely navigate less familiar surroundings can be practiced, helping to prepare the children for life outside of school.

Parental consent is required for all visits and both individual pupil and location risk assessments are completed prior to leaving the school grounds.

Once per year, our Year 6 pupils are offered the opportunity to go on a residential trip.
