In line with the National Curriculum, all Key Stage 2 children at Longford Park access weekly French lessons with our specialist French assistant, who is a native French speaker. Lessons are structured in an interactive and 'hands-on' style, often through the use of games, encouraging participation and enjoyment when learning a foreign language. Lessons focus on teaching the children key vocabulary and grammar which they can use to communicate common useful phrases in French.
